Characteristics of UPS

① The characteristics of online UPS.
A Online UPS all have sine wave output, and its most notable feature is the realization of truly uninterrupted power supply to the load.
B Online UPS achieves anti-interference power supply for loads. Because online UPS requires inverters to supply power to loads, whether from the mains or batteries, this can fundamentally eliminate the impact of all voltage fluctuations and electrical interference from the mains on the load. UPS always provides a high-quality AC power supply with stable voltage and frequency to the load. Moreover, the sine distortion coefficient of online UPS is the smallest.
C Compared with other types of UPS, online UPS has excellent instantaneous characteristics. When it is loaded or unloaded at 100% load, the change in output voltage is less than 4%, and the time is about 10-40ms
D Online UPS has high operational reliability.
② The characteristics of UPS with backup sine wave output.
A Generally, various types of UPS circuits with sine wave output use anti-interference graded voltage regulation and stabilization technology. When the mains voltage is in the range of 180-250V, it can output a sine wave voltage with anti-interference stabilization.
B The switching time is relatively short, about 4ms, with a minimum of 2ms
C The neutral and live wires at its output end are fixed because both the mains power supply and the inverter power supply to the load in UPS are completed by the same power transformer. So users should comply with the manufacturer’s regulations when connecting this UPS. All types of UPS with sine wave output have zero and live wire error detection circuits. Once it is found that the zero and live wires at the input end do not match the requirements of the UPS, the UPS will automatically protect and there will be no output. It should also be pointed out that the neutral wire for 220V input in various types of UPS is the ground wire of the UPS control circuit.
③ The characteristics of UPS with various square wave outputs.
A Like various types of sine wave output UPS, this line adopts anti-interference graded voltage regulation and stabilization technology. When the mains power varies between 180-250V, its stabilization accuracy is between 5% and 10%; When the mains power is interrupted, the inverter provides a square wave power supply with a stability of ± 5% and no interference to the load.
B The control circuit of the backup UPS with square wave output does not adopt the technology of synchronizing with the mains power, and its switching time is correspondingly longer than that of various UPS with sine wave output, about 4-9ms
C Like various types of sine wave output UPS, its output terminals have fixed zero and live wires. When in use, the polarity of the communication input terminal should comply with the factory regulations.
D Cannot handle loads with properties like fluorescent lamps, otherwise it will not meet the factory specifications of the machine or damage the UPS itself. And it cannot be frequently shut down and started. After the UPS is turned off, if it is immediately restarted, it cannot work normally. At this time, there is no voltage output and the buzzer keeps ringing, which is called a startup failure. So, after shutting down, if you need to restart, you need to wait for more than 6 seconds.
